Open House 2009 : Tea and Healthy Lifestyle

Join us for free snacks, special sales, and prizes.

All events occur Saturday, September 12, 2009 at our Legacy location and Sunday, September 13, 2009 at our Tower location unless otherwise noted.

• Humane-i-Tea, 12 - 6 pm
  Stop by for a doggie treat, courtesy of Three Dog Bakery, or mention the Nebraska Humane Society, and we will donate 5% of your purchase.
• Tea and Health, 3 - 5 pm
  Sunday only, at Tower Store
  Amanda Jochum, a Hy-Vee dietician, will be sharing healthy cooking ideas, recipes, and samples.

• Blending Seminar, 1 - 3 pm
  $15 per person
  Work with the Chief Leaf to learn about how tea blends are created. Create your own blend to enjoy at home.
• Chinese Tea Service, by reservation
  $7 per person
  Enjoy a traditional Chinese tea service, served and prepared by one of our trained Tea Smithies.

• Design-a-Mug, 12 - 6 pm
  $13 mug, $15 tea cup & saucer
  Co-sponsored by That Pottery Place.
  For the young, and young at heart, decorate your own tea cup & saucer or mug. Enjoy your artwork for years to come.
• Tea Cocktails, 3:30 - 5:30 pm
  $15 per person
  Saturday only, at Legacy Store.
  Co-sponsored by Spirit World.
  Learn creative drink recipes and enjoy tasty samples.
