Great function and quality. I've had one of these for more than 2 years and it looks brand new. Its great for when you only need to brew a small amount of tea instead of an entire pot. I have had success with the water in the cup with a microwave, then dropping the sturdy metal strainer in and top with the lid. After steeping the flip the lid over and use it as a coaster to set metal strainer on! I've given this to many tea newbies...great starter gift with some looseleaf!
