Product Description

This lovely combination will win new chamomile fans. A citrus spark enhances the mellow flowery liquor, adding a sweetness that balances the floral notes some find overpowering. As an added bonus, a touch of hibiscus gives a light color to the liquor and helps cut through the chamomile to provide a well-rounded flavor and lighter mouth feel.

Insider tip: We recommending using a microscreen infuser basket with chamomile, as it can be difficult to clean out of mesh infusers. Get one here.

Caffeine Level: None.

Learn More:

Our chamomile usually comes from Egypt and has been used for thousands of years as natural remedy for anxiety, sleeplessness, and digestive issues. While we are cautious to say everyone reacts different to herbal remedies, chamomile is caffeine-free and widely consumed as an evening tea to help with sleep. Chamomile can also be an anti-inflammatory, help with heartburn, and soothe mouth sores. Chamomile has a strong, distinctive, floral flavor and aroma. What you find in pre-bagged teas at the grocery store are the tiny fannings of the actual flower bud. With loose tea, you can see the beauty of the full flower bud which can range in size from half a centimeter to an inch in diameter!

Ingredients: Chamomile flowers, lemon and hibiscus.

This tea is pretty good. I like having chamomile tea around when I have a sore throat. It's interesting to have the lemon already infused into the chamomile - though personally, I would add more lemon. Not that you don't taste the lemon - I just prefer more. What I like about the lemon being infused is that I can take this tea to work and get that great lemony taste without having to bring in an actual lemon.
