Learn More:

The word Tisane comes from the French Tisane (Tee- Zahn) which derives from the Latin word Ptisana which literally means 'barley water'. Tisanes are technically NOT teas, since they do not contain leaves of the Camelia Sinensis, thus we consider them herbal blends. Tisanes were consumed in ancient Egypt and China as medicinal tonics. Tinsanes contain no caffeine and their ingredients can range from roots, leaves, berries, and fruits. They can be either steeped in water (best for flowers and leaves) or simmered in water (best for roots and barks to release their flavors/benefits).

Ingredients: Apple pieces, hibiscus blossoms, rose hip peel, pineapple cubes, coconut shreds and flavoring.

Pina Colada is FANTASTIC as an Iced tea! I brought 4oz back to Wisconsin after being in Omaha for the summer and I know I will have to order more before summer is over. Even iced the flavor is quite full and complex and the color and visual appeal are outstanding! I think it would blend very well with other teas as well.
I loved it

We purchased a pot of this tea and immediately bought 8 oz to bring home and drink iced. Give it a try my spouse and I love it.

This was the first Tea Smith tea I had tasted. I love Pina Colada, and having a tea of it would be excellent, I thought, and bought an iced tea to go. Unfortunately, when I had the first sip, my first thought was "Wow, this is too sweet," followed by "This tastes like super-sweet apple juice more than Pina Colada." I passed by buying some then, and later fell in love with the Tropical Paradise Rooibos that they had this summer. Later, I found a sampler of this same tea when buying several others, and decided to try brewing it myself. Unfortunately, again, the taste didn't change when I brewed it. If I got it again, I might try brewing it with a little vanilla in order to mellow out the taste, but for now, I'm going to stay with the Tropical Paradise Rooibos that I stockpiled this summer.
