Learn More:

Teas can be flavored a number of ways, through the inclusion of ingredients - such as flowers, nuts, or berries, the addition of oils or extracts - such as citrus or vanilla, or by using artificial flavors. After being added to a base tea, these ingredients are blended together in a number of ways, either in large batches in a blending machine or in small batches by hand. Some teas are flavored through their processes, such as Lapsang Souchong, which is smoked over pine fires during drying.

At The Tea Smith, we pride ourselves in blending many of our teas by hand, carefully calculating our blends, and selecting only the best teas and the best ingredients to be used in our collection.

Ingredients: Black tea, organic cocoa nibs, chili pepper and chocolate flavor.

I start to become worried when my supply of South of the Border gets low. It is my all time favorite tea and I have made many of my friends fans also. LOVE IT!

My son brewed me a cup of his favorite new tea and my first response was, "wow! This is great tea!" I am partial to Earl Grey, but South of the Border is a beautiful blend and the chocolate aroma is mouth-watering.

I was skeptical of this tea because it smelled like chocolate at the store, and I was unsure of how chocolate and tea would mix. This tea is wonderful! I grew up on hot cocoa, but always thought it was too much sweet with not enough chocolate. This tea has that subtle chocolate flavor without all the extra sweetness of hot cocoa. This tea exceeded my expectations.
Pretty good! Pleasantly surprised!

I bought a sample of this today because I always try something different. Although I am partial to the Rooibos tea, this was a pleasant surprise. It smells incredible and the mixture of chocolate and spice is phenomenal. A must try!!!

South of the Border tea is awesome. Great for those cool fall nights. With the perfect blend of chocolate first and then a touch of spice afterwards what more could you ask for! Give it a try.
A great new tea

THE NEW SOUTH OF THE BORDER IS WONDERFUL! IT IS SMOOTH AND HAS JUST ENOUGH CHOCOLATE FLAVOR TO SATISFY ANY CHOCOLATE LOVER. WHEN YOU DRINK IT YOU TASTE CHOCOLATE AND THEN THE SPICE, BUT NOT TOO MUCH SPICE. IT IS A MUST HAVE!
