This is a unique offering not often found. It has the floral notes we look for in a white tea as well as that distinctive character present in fine teas from the finer regions of Northern India. This is produced early in the Spring about the time as the 1st Flush.
Insider Tip: The Doke Estate produced a green and a black tea that we also carry. Check them out here.
Caffeine Level: Low/Medium.
Learn more about the Lochan family and the Doke Estate here. Grown in the Bihar region of India, located south of Darjeeling and close to the border with Nepal, the area has traditionally been highly agricultural and suffered from great poverty and crime. The tea estate has created many jobs and elevated the economy of the area. A family run affair, the estate also aims to employ and empower women and to eventually be the first estate run entirely by women!
