Description
Assam teas are known for their unique, bold flavor. This tea has that and so much more. Naturally, you will notice the 'malty' character, but we found layers of baked bread and oak. Close attention to the leaf shows a nice amount of golden buds, and a very high plucking standard. The cup is brisk and mellow, which makes this a tea you can enjoy by itself, as it is not as heavy as many teas from the region. Yet it will stand up to milk as well.
Insider Tip: Try Assam in the morning for a brisk pick-me-up and add a dash of milk or honey to sweeten the taste. If you like Assam, try Assam Khongea Golden Bud!
