A rare offering from Northern India, the estate is in Bihar, a poor area not well known for tea. However, the families making this tea have had great teachers and produce some outstanding handmade teas. This is a particularly complex tea. The initial flavor has a fruit sweetness which is followed by an earthy finish.

The tea estate has created many jobs and elevated the economy of the area. A family run affair, the estate also aims to employ and empower women and to eventually be the first estate run entirely by women!
