This is an intriguing and complex offering from Wuyi China. This Wuyi oolong has a mid-level oxidation then carefully fired to add depth and strength. The first infusion imparts a slightly smooth sweet flavor with the influence of the fruitwood used to fire the tea. Later, you will notice the bold and lingering finish. Great for multiple infusions.

Oolong teas are commonly known as partially oxidized because the oxidation allowed in processing varies between that of a green tea and that of a black.
